LACOSTA Facility Support Services is looking for a dedicated warehouse associate at our Saint Charles location. You will be in charge of palletizing boxes and ensuring all product is being handled with the utmost care. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and pay close attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications: Perfect position for someone with warehouse, package handling, or palletizing experience.

Minimum Qualifications: No experience is necessary, we will train!

Job Duties:

• Correctly stacks cases of finished product onto the proper pallets.
• Operates case taper loading and troubleshooting as necessary.
• Creates SAP labels for cases and pallets and applies them in designated locations.
• Utilizes the hand scanner to record case pallet assignments.
• Operates shrink wrap machine.
• Maintains work area in a safe manner.
• Performs other related duties to contribute to the success of the operation as assigned by supervision.

Essential Functions:

• Ability to perform simple calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) and applies good mathematical reasoning.
• Ability to stand, walk, twist up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to lift upwards to 50lbs up to a level of 6ft high multiple times per day.

Work Environment:

• Required to wear steel-toed shoes, bump cap, hair net, ear plugs and safety glasses in manufacturing area.
• The noise level in the work environment is consistently above 85 decibels.
• Dust from paper converting process constantly present
• Wear specialty gloves when handling waste to prevent cuts to hands.
• The employee constantly works near moving mechanical parts and lift trucks.
• The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or vapors or hazardous products such as degreasers and silicone sprays.
• Ambient temp and humidity may be elevated during the summer months.

Shifts Available:

• 1st Shift: 7AM-3PM, Monday - Friday (Plus every other Saturday)
• 3rd Shift: 11PM-7AM, Monday - Friday (Plus every other Saturday)

Pay: $17.25-18.50/hour
