We are seeking a Shipping/Inventory/Stores Specialist for a thriving aerospace corporation. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with experience in manual handling, looking to get a foot in the door or further their career in manufacturing.

Primary responsibilities:

• Continuously improves products and processes and participates in quality improvement teams when appropriate.
• Responsible for insuring on-time delivery to the customer by maintaining productivity and following department processes and schedules.
• Responsible for satisfying the needs of internal and external customers by responding to customer requests, understanding customer requirements, and building successful, productive customer relations.
• Prepares material kits from bills of material and/or material pick lists and issues to production.
• Counts and bags material for storage and issues material from stock. Bags and tags finished goods for storage.
• Completes all stores, receiving and shipping transactions, computer data entry.

What you’ll bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Skills required to operate basic equipment such as hand truck and forklift.
• Computer knowledge needed. Ability to operate calculator.
• Requires up to eight (8) hours of walking and standing at a time on concrete floors.
• Requires the ability to lift 10-20 pounds on a regular basis and up to 75 pounds occasionally (may be with assistance).
