Come join our Materials Department (1st shift-5:00am-2:00pm) and be a key part of our expansion and growth.

Job scope:

• Supports inventory accuracy by insuring components are stocked in a manner that facilitates ease of identification, counting, and maintaining record accuracy.
• Stores components according to established procedures to insure that components are safeguarded from damage.
• Assists in the preparation of periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock.
• Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, deterioration of or damage to stock, and location changes.
• Assists in the distribution of stock, insuring that documentation and product is accurate and meets quality requirements and current policy.
• Rejects defective parts, completes appropriate documentation.
• Recommends methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor or shelf loading capacities, and required space.
• Operates lift trucks or electric hoists to assist in loading or moving materials and products.

What you bring

• High School Diploma or GED
• Solid work history
• 4 years’ or more of experience in a manufacturing and/or warehouse environment
• Must be able to interpret blue prints
• Must have the ability to follow written or verbal instructions
• Must have knowledge of health and safety requirements including but not limited to fire hazards, compressed gases, electrical, chemical and mechanical devices
• Able to pass a drug screen test (mandatory)

Physical demands and work environment

The employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to walk. The employee is occasionally required to sit and smell. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
