JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the daily warehouse functions: preparing printed reports and updating T-Link system for inbound freight, receiving process, manifesting of outbound freight, customer notification of cargo in the warehouse, and the customer cargo release process.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Remove cargo from inventory once delivered to customer and scan proof of delivery into T-Link.
• Update and scan US Customs clearance documents into T-Link.
• Print cargo release document from T-Link for shipments paid and cleared for delivery.
• Print out turn report for all inbound freight in T-Link pending arrival.
• Update T-Link system with cargo location upon completion of stripping and update equipment activity.
• Prepare weekly cargo notification to customers for cargo in the warehouse.
• Receive cargo/vehicle and create new booking in T-Link for Northbound freight.
• Prepare loading manifest for outbound freight and prepare manifest in T-Link.
• Respond to all emails in a timely manner and customer inquiries regarding the shipping process.
• Notify Cargo Loss Prevention of damages, missing or misrouted cargo, and create Service Incident Reports (SIRS).
• Reconcile the weekly inventory with T-Link for cargo in the warehouse.
• Inform supervisor of warehouse issues and manpower shortages.
• Purge warehouse file every six months.
• Performs all other related duties as requested.

EDUCATION:

High School Diploma or equivalent

EXPERIENCE:

One year of experience in related field. Computer experience required

LICENSE:

Valid Local Driver's License

PHYSICAL:

Operations - Manual dexterity to perform repetitive motion tasks on computer or handheld. Ability to frequently twist, bend, reach, squat, kneel, climb on equipment, push/pull 50 pounds, crawl, lift and carry at least 80 pounds on a daily basis. Able to withstand constant exposure to extreme weather conditions.
