Job Vacancy Notice

TITLE: Warehouse II /Delivery

LOCATION: Facility Services

TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 12 months

QUALIFICATIONS: High school graduate and at least two years training beyond high
school. Prior experience managing and leading workers.

REPORTS TO: General Services Foreman
JOB GOAL: To provide quality materials and service to all schools in a timely
and efficient manner in order that they may maintain a superior
instructional program.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Performs deliveries and pick-ups of custodial supplies and equipment, mail, textbooks,
furniture, and other assigned items/supplies to ensure quality and quantity of products
? Loads and unloads materials and supplies using available hand trucks, pallet jacks, and
forklifts
? Help set up for major district and departmental events.
? Able to complete work with little supervision.
? Helps maintain and work on custodial equipment.
? May assist in school inspections.(Sparkle and How You’re Living)
? Other duties as assigned.

ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:
? High school diploma or GED from regionally or nationally accredited institution
? Experience in warehouse/delivery operations, basic record keeping, and inventory control
procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
? Must be physically able to operate a variety of machinery and equipment.
? Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of fingering,
grasping, kneeling, sitting, walking, stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, talking, seeing,
hearing, and repetitive motion.
? Must be able to perform medium to heavy lifting, exerting up to 100 lbs of force
occasionally, and 25 to 50 lbs of force frequently.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
? Must possess a valid NC driver’s license.
? Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, teachers,
students, administrators, community leaders, agency representatives, and others.
? Must be adaptable to performing under stress and when confronted with emergency
situations.
