Effective the first of the month following the date of hire, employees are eligible to participate in the following Inventprise employee benefit programs:

Job Summary:

Job Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):

The primary focus of this position will be on manufacturing of polysaccharide-protein conjugation for various projects under cGMP conditions.

Essential Functions

• Lead the conjugation process in protein-polysaccharide conjugate vaccine development. Design, develop and optimize the process workflow involving different process scales and batch sizes.
• Development and optimization of conjugation process conditions and author batch manufacturing records, SOPs, and validation documents as per regulatory guidelines.
• Understanding of the principles and working knowledge of biologics manufacturing process.
• Hands-on experience leading manufacturing processes involving polysaccharide/protein purification following cGMP guidelines.
• Skills in Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) process, chromatographic techniques such as Hydrophobic Interaction Chromatography (HIC)/Ion-exchange Chromatography (IEX)/size-exclusion and reverse phase chromatography, bioreactor operation and high-pressure homogenization.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot, analyze and interpret data. Ability to present data in functional or cross-functional meetings.
• Comply with all lab safety requirement and procedures.
• Ability to manage a team of 2-3 members.
  

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline such as Biochemistry, Chemistry, Microbiology, or Biology.
• Master’s degree in Chemistry (preferred).
  
• 5 years of industry experience and technical background [conjugation (optional), protein chemistry, polysaccharide chemistry (optional), and exposure to cGMP manufacturing at pilot scale level].
  
• cGMP knowledge required.
