Now hiring! Logistics Manager in the Mira Mar area.
Responsible for managing supply chain management functions including the flow of goods, deliveries, inventory control, shipping, and receiving for Bolta US, Inc.

Your tasks/Duties:

• Develops and supports logistics strategy

• Supports usage ERP system as SAP key user. Oversee automated warehouse system and maintain accurate logistics reports.

• Adheres to policies and procedures

• Supervise the development of employees in the logistics department.

• Implement knowledge and transfer information to appropriate departments, line managers, and supervisors.
• Monitor compliance with established procedures and processes in logistics areas

• Communicate with superiors regarding opportunities for optimizing logistics processes (production, organization, procedures, etc.)

• Manage staffing for departments (capacity/production, vacation, PTO, etc.).

• Other duties assigned in order to ensure operations run efficient.

What we are looking for: Individuals with excellent work ethic, and a desire to exceed expectations

• Extensive experience in logistics and supply chain management. Extensive knowledge in SAP. Ability to effectively work with individuals at all organizational levels.

• Excellent attendance and the ability to work a flexible schedule and be on call are essential.

• Understanding of inventory management and goods tracking is critical.

• Ability to meet physical demands of the position, which may include: climbing stairs/ladders, stooping, kneeling, crouching, walking, standing, and lifting. Ability to safely work in areas that are subjected to hazardous chemicals and machinery.

• Physically capable of lifting, pulling, pushing up to 50 pounds without injury
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in logistics within manufacturing.

• Extensive experience working with SAP is required
