Job Summary

We are Cheese packaging and conversion company, located in Antioch, IL. We are currently looking to fill the position of Warehouse Manager to oversee the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods.

Warehouse Manager - Mon-Friday (some Saturday work for Inventory, as needed)

The Warehouse Manager will ensure workplace health and safety requirements are met and take responsibility for the security of the building and inventory.

-They will plan the arrangement of goods within the warehouse and organize special

requirements for certain products, such as chilled goods or fragile products.

-They will ensure productivity targets are met and maintain computerized administration

Warehouse Management System (WMS) and ERP system.

-They will manage teams of workers assist in the recruitment, training and discipline of staff.

-They will also oversee picking, packing and distribution activity.

Key Accountabilities:

• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical count; reconciling with WMS and ERP systems
• Perform general maintenance of machinery used in the warehouse.
• Inspect conditions of tools and equipment.
• Enforce all company rules and regulations.
• Ensure a high degree of detail and focus on every job.
• Communicate with drivers to ensure efficient delivery of products.
• Manage customer service requests promptly and resolve issues quickly.
• Communicating with other departments, staff groups and customers
• Overseeing inventory control and processing orders
• Ensuring quality, delivery and budget objectives are met
• Carrying out responsibilities for the use of automated and computerized systems, Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Keeping inventory control systems up to date and planning future capacity requirements
• Producing regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Briefing team leaders on the issues for that particular day
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees, following up on results
• Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results

Skills and Qualifications:

The successful applicant will maintain high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations, lead and develop

the warehouse team and provide impeccable customer service to our clients.

• High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2+ years’ experience in a warehouse supervisory/manager role
• Proven knowledge of warehouse policies and procedures
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong team working skills
• Strong technical skills, Warehouse Management System experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work with all levels of staff.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Experience:

• SAP Warehouse Management: 2 years (Preferred)
