Job Overview

TCH is looking for a Warehouse employee who will be responsible for accurately receiving product from carriers and other TCH warehouses as well as shipping customer orders or organizing transfers to other TCH locations. This position will also assist with fabricating and welding steel doors and frames as needed.

Essential Job Functions

• Utilize warehouse equipment to unload trucks from carriers including UPS, Fedex, LTL, etc
• Check product in using a purchase order, packing list and TCH computer system; verify acceptable condition before signing off
• Tag and stage work-in-progress inventory
• Pull stock hardware to fill orders
• Build crates and ship doors for customer orders
• Secure freight quotes for Project Managers
• Stage Special Orders and transfer items for other TCH warehouses in proper locations, update computer system
• Fill stock locations with product received in
• Receive transfers from other TCH warehouse for stock and special orders
• Weld single steel door frames (face and continuous)
• Grind, sand and paint steel doors and frames according to order specifications
• Cut/prep/deburr doors and frames to proper specifications
• Use various shop tools and welders to complete job tasks
• Other duties as required

Skills Requirements

• Good math skills (count, add, subtract)
• Experience using warehouse equipment like pallet jacks, rolling staircases, etc.
• Basic understanding of product nomenclature
• Basic understanding of TCH policies and procedures
• Forklift certification or willingness to be certified
• Experience using various shop tools such as electric grinder, jigsaw, circular saw, etc.
• Mig welding, 110 and 220V experience, preferred
• Favorable results from a pre-employment physical and drug screen

Working Conditions

Warehouse environment subject to temperature changes, on your feet most of the day. Includes: bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching, push/pull. Lift 10-50lbs, regularly and 100lbs +, occasionally.
