Currently looking for a LAYDOWN YARD PERSONNEL for our PICCO District at our SAMSUNG PROJECT in Taylor, Texas.

As a WAREHOUSE PERSON working the Laydown Yard, you will contribute to our team by:

• Must pass full background check.
• Must pass drug and alcohol test.
• Must have either Basic or Basic refresher.
• Must have experience running forklifts (Telehandler Forklifts) in congested area.
• Work in laydown yard, filling requests to support construction.
• Off-loading and loading materials in the laydown yard.
• Verifies the quantity and description of materials received by checking items received against the packing list.
• Prepares a receiving report if none is available.
• Examine incoming shipments for damaged items. Appropriately report/record any discrepancies.
• Attaches identifying tag or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers.
• Assembles and fills orders to be shipped to projects or vendors.
• Review all requisitions to determine if they were picked correctly.
• Ensure laydown area cleanliness is maintained on a regular basis.
• Safely operate all the necessary equipment in work area.

What you will bring to the role:

• Be able to identify items by size, type, style, color or manufacturer.
• Solid reading skills – must be able to read requisitions for materials to be shipped
• Basic math skills and reasoning skills.
• Forklift Certification a plus.
• Ability to understand and execute instructions.
• General understanding of the warehouse and footprint
• Operate inventory control equipment, i.e., bar-coding equipment, handheld devices or computers if necessary.
