The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

Supervising and managing all functions involved with warehouse management, including shipping, receiving, and inventory

Responsible for supervision, safety performance, training, product quality, cost control, employee communications, employee morale and productivity

Providing direct supervision to assigned employees through leadership, coaching, training and development, allocating work assignments, and review of progress in achieving objectives.

Supervising and training employees on all aspects of the warehouse, shipping, and receiving.

Ensure compliance to standards, regulatory laws, and corporate policies
-
Leading in a team environment by encouraging and implementing cross training programs, cooperation, innovation, flexibility, and teamwork.

Administer distribution operations, division, and corporate policies and procedures to ensure goals are attained

Utilizing team and working with Supply Chain to ensure accurate inventory by leading cycle counts and regular inventory audits.

Ensuring shipments are on-time and accurate and material is receiving per standards
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
-
High school diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from accredited institution
-
Three (3) years of leadership experience in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
-
Bachelor’s degree from accredited institution
-
Leadership experience as a Supervisor in a manufacturing environment
-
Five years of experience in a manufacturing environment with emphasis on Warehouse experience
Travel: May include up to 10%
Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
