Stripes Global Inc, a successful re-seller of medical device and life science products to Federal, State, and Local Government Agencies, is opening a new pharmaceutical distribution center in Leavenworth, Kansas and is in need of a Warehouse/Facility Manager. We are looking for an organized warehouse/facility manager to manage/maintain the facility and supervise the receipt, dispatching, and storage of pharmaceutical products in our warehouse. The warehouse/facility manager will oversee picking, storage, receiving, dispatching, security, maintenance, sanitation, and administrative functions. The manager will oversee, train, evaluate and reward staff. The manager will ensure the maintenance of company assets.

Responsibilities

Plan, operate and maintain the facility and warehouse and act as designed representative on behalf Stripes Global Inc.’s owners.

Plan, organize, supervise and participate in daily warehouse operation and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution of pharmaceutical products, including controlled substances.

Receive, inventory, store and manage all pharmaceutical products and maintain inventory records.

Receive and oversee tracking of all incoming freight deliveries: UPS, FedEx, LTL, etc.

Route, schedule, and prepare orders for delivery.

Organize and maintain warehouse/facility appearance and functionality.

Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse/facility in a clean, safe and orderly condition.

Establish and implement optimal warehouse standards and procedures.

Manage the warehouse in line with the company’s standards and in compliance with FDA, DEA, OSHA, Drug Wholesale and respective regulations.

Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees. Lead staff to meet departmental objectives.

Organize and utilize the warehouse space to achieve peak efficiency.

Safeguard warehouse operations and product inventory by complying with extensive security procedures and protocols.

Prepare and manage the annual budget.

Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies.

Perform other duties as assigned to included HR (hiring, equal opportunity program, reviews, and mentoring)

Operate forklift truck as necessary.

Requirements

Minimum 20 years’ experience working in a warehouse of a pharmaceutical wholesaler, other pharmaceutical distribution company or distribution center.

Have managed a pharmacy.

Have strong knowledge of drug serialization requirements & regulations.

Must have a detailed understanding of ALL laws and regulations relating to the wholesale distribution of prescription drugs.

Must not have been enjoined, disciplined, fined, punished, or the like for violating any federal or state laws regulating prescription drugs or devices and must not have been found guilty, pled guilty, or pled nolo contendere to any criminal offense.

Must successfully complete drug screening & background check

Have a basic understanding of quality control systems and prescription drug terminology, abbreviations and dosage.

Have 5 year experience in corporate personnel management and Human Resources

Competencies

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
