DESCRIPTION

Seeking a Web Developer to join our team at the Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM, which provides integral mission support to the NNSA. To learn more about LANL, please go to: https://nnsa.energy.gov/aboutus/ourlocations/los-alamos-national-laboratory.

This position is full-time and will serve the Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM.

OVERVIEW

• Supports software applications and systems by investigating, designing, documenting and implementing new hardware and software.
• Analyzes user requirements and evaluates work processes.
• Prepares concepts for information system solutions and evaluates the cost-effectiveness of these concepts.
• Design, develop, modify, test, and debug web applications using modern frameworks.
• Utilize in-depth understanding of Typescript, React and React Testing Library / Enzyme, and Node.js.
• Work within Scrum or other Agile frameworks.
• Test applications through unit and integration tests and following CI/CD processes.
• Work well in a team-oriented environment with the ability to communicate and collaborate cross-functionally within and outside of the group.
• Utilize effective interpersonal skills for communicating technical information, building relationships, and resolving conflicts.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of related experience.
• Must have an in-depth understanding of Typescript, React, Node.js, Scrum, and Agile.
• To be considered, you must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued clearance, if needed.
• Due to the nature of the work, a U.S. Citizenship is required.
