Job description

The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing direct weight management patient care to adults and adolescents population of the Seminole Tribe of Florida in accordance with a prescribed schedule. The individual practices as part of a developing Integrative Health Weight Management Program, conveying evidence-based medical management expertise and delivering pharmacological/surgical directives or input as indicated.

Medical Doctor’s Degree (M.D.) from an accredited medical school is required. The incumbent must possess a current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Florida and active DEA registration. Board Certification in family medicine, internal medicine, preventive medicine, obesity medicine or a Board certified bariatrician is required. A minimum of three (3) years working in the field of medical management of obesity is required. The candidate must be a team player. Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills and cultural competence. Demonstrate proficiency utilizing Microsoft software packages required. Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $200,000.00 - $275,000.00 per year
