Position Description:

· Fabrication and assembly of metal structures and equipment through the use of welders, cutters, and shapers and measuring tools.

· Produces metal products according to customer or employer specifications.

· Uses multiple welding machines to repair and maintain metal equipment and structures of various sizes.

· Reads and interprets diagrams, sketches and blueprints to determine operations, required materials and timeframes for projects.

· Sets up, operates and maintains welding equipment.

· Understands and implements personal and company safety measures by wearing specialized goggles, helmets and gloves.

· Communication skills are essential to work with team members and converse with customers.

· Operates and maintains the machines that repair metal structures, equipment and machinery.

Candidate Requirements:

· Minimum of 1 year experience with MIG, Stick, or TIG welding.

· Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/blueprints.

· Will be required to complete a welding test at interview.

· Excellent verbal and communication skills, driven, and self-disciplined.

· Ability to lift up to 50lbs. and perform other physical labor.
