Flora Fresh Inc. is an employee-owned wholesale floral, plant, and floral supply distributor located in Sacramento, California. As a Will-Call Associate you will be the first associate our walk-in and pick-up customers interact with. Customers will rely on your expertise in identifying fresh cut flowers and plants. In your role you will pull pre-book orders, ring up and package walk-in orders, and process payment using our point of sale. Will-Call and Resource associates are the face of Flora Fresh and we will rely on you to uphold our high customer service standards.

Compensation:

· $18.00 per hour

Regular Duties:

· Accurately identify fresh cut flowers and plants.

· Assist with customer questions regarding substitutions, inventory, and sales.

· Accurately ring-up orders for walk-in and pick-up orders and process payments via cash, credit cards, and checks.

· Pull pre-book orders for later pick-up time or for scheduled deliveries.

· Box and carry out orders up to 25lbs.

· Assist with keeping will-call tidy by cleaning, sweeping, wiping down tables, and organizing fresh cut flowers and plants.

· Assist with deliveries of fresh cut products and supplies occasionally lifting up to 75lbs until the delivery is off-loaded.

· Assist with cashiering in supplies as needed.

· All other duties as requested.

Minimum Requirements:

· At least 18 years of age.

· Ability to work Monday-Friday and one Saturday per month between 5:00AM-4:00PM. Most shifts are 8 hours, but overtime will occasionally be needed for peak periods.

· Must be able to identify colors to appropriately pull orders.

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Certifications:

· Prior experience identifying fresh cut flowers and plants.

· Driver license and clear driving record.

Working Conditions:

· In-person in Sacramento, CA

· Day shifts Monday-Friday between 5:00AM-4:00PM

· Work is primarily standing and walking in a warehouse environment. Frequently entering and exiting a refrigerated cooler. Warehouse areas are not temperature controller and can be cold or hot depending on external temperatures.

· Frequent reaching, grabbing, transferring materials, and typing. Frequent bending, stooping, and overhead reach. Frequently lifting 25lbs. Occasionally lifting 75lbs.

· Must be able to consistently work around plants and flowers of different varieties.
