Job Summary
Within the HR Product Management department and under limited direction, uses knowledge and skills obtained through education and experience to primarily administer the Workday Recruiting Applicant Tracking System (though may include supporting Workday Recruiting or other systems) . Role has extensive contact with internal customers, information technology (IT) professionals, and vendors to identify, research, analyze, and resolve system issues and problems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serves as the system technical expert and maximizes its use to support business functions
- Trains users in Workday Recruiting and other assigned systems
- Provides system support/customer service to HR colleagues and system users across the firm
- Consults with end users to assess reporting needs to deliver reports and dashboards through use of OBI, SQL and other tools
- Working with IT performs application software implementations and upgrades
- Manages and assures data is accurate and up-to-date by regularly completing data and user access audits
- Ensures high availability, security and integrity of assigned applications
- Assists in evaluating and identifying ways to automate, streamline, and improve day-to-day maintenance and administrative practice
- Installs or coordinates installation of application patches and releases on development, test, pre-production, and production systems
- Provide self-service tools (dashboards, reports) and metrics to the user community resulting in faster more accurate results with high user satisfaction
- Assists in ensuring vendor adheres to contractual Service Level Agreements
- Serves as key person in troubleshooting system problems, taking ownership of problems to resolution
- Effectively manages communication between end users, vendors, and IT to solve production, pre-production, test, and development environment problems quickly
- Identify opportunities for and complete automation of reports and processes
- Creates and executes test scripts for upgrades, new functionality etc.
- Leads system tests and coordinates with business owner for UAT
- Assists in capacity planning, performance monitoring and tuning on assigned systems
- Participates in disaster recovery planning and testing
- Maintains currency in systems administration practices and techniques
- May support broader company workforce reporting needs
- Works on HR Product Management projects as needed
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Knowledge of:
- Business needs met by assigned systems
- Basic concepts, principles and practices of systems administration
- Basic application and web technologies
- Basic architecture of assigned systems
- Basic concepts, practices and procedures used in the financial services industry
- Basic network and security concepts and technologies
- HR department’s data requests desired.
Skill in:
- Oracle Business Intelligence report writing
- Gathering data requirements.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Advanced skills with Oracle SQL, MS SQL Server, PS Query, MS Excel and Powerpoint.
- Installing, maintaining, and upgrading application software
- Identifying, troubleshooting, and escalating application problems
- Operating standard office equipment and using required software applications
- Interacting with associates at all levels across the enterprise to resolve system/process issues
Ability to:
- Act quickly and accurately in a calm, professional manner to correct any disruption that may occur to an application or application server
- Attend to detail in ensuring operations on application servers are accurate, including developing contingency plans
- Assessing business needs and applying systems to support related processes
- Organize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment
- Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with internal customers, IT professionals and vendors
- Work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Present ideas and information through multiple communication channels (written, oral, formal presentation) including preparing reports, summaries, surveys, and written communications to HR management and the business.

Education/Previous Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience as an ATS System Administrator
Workday Recruiting Experience preferred
