Position Summary:
The job holder will be responsible for the creation, monitoring and management of Working Party preparation & tooling activities in the frame of complex repairs and modifications assistance for Airlines and Maintenance Repair Organizations (MRO) outside their operating scope of work, technical ability and expertise, including but not limited to incidental and fleet wide repairs.
The jobholder initiates and manages the Working Party Preparation dossiers ensuring their compliance with Airbus Maintenance Organization procedures and FAA/EASA/TCCA Part 145 regulations, their delivery in due time, and that they feature all technical data and detailed work instructions to enable a smooth and efficient embodiment of maintenance, repair and retrofit tasks as requested by our customers.
Primary Responsibilities: 80%
Create and manage the Working Party preparation dossier covering all means needed for shop floor (or on-site Working Party) execution:- Write, check and release Job Cards,
- Prepare Work Order Technical Definition, Engineering Technical Information, Maintenance Tasks...
- Identify and source Jigs & Tools required for the on-aircraft work under Airbus responsibility
- Ensure smooth flow of components, parts, jigs and tools at repair area I.A.W work sequencing.
- Ensure compliance to Health and Safety rules in force.
- Optimize the schedule and the economic impact for preparation activities for each repair/modification project.
Provide technical support to operations during embodiment, repair, and retrofit campaign or maintenance tasks (for Airbus, Airlines & MRO's).- Manage on-site working party tooling requests, ensuring correct tools are supplied on time and on quality.

- Contribute to Return on Experience initiatives (through Post Project Reviews) and adopt a continuous improvement approach for any aspects of a given project and for the sake of operational business improvement.
- Propose innovative solutions, challenge supplier costs, monitor and report on capex expenditures, monitor workload, simplify tasks, and coordinate warehouse activities.
- Contribute to operational business activities through participation in collaborative projects.
Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:
Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.- Minimum 10 years of technical aviation experience in a repair environment PART 145 Airline or MRO under: FAA/EASA/TCCA Regulations.
- Applied knowledge and understanding of all working party (or on-aircraft activity) processes and, ideally knowing the Airbus MOA environment and associated documentation/processes.
- Good theoretical knowledge of metallic and composite aircraft structure and applicable repair processes.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing to teams and business partners worldwide.
- Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with multidisciplinary teams in various locations.
- Knowledge of Airbus manuals as available in Airn@v: AMM, IPC, SRM, ESPM, ASM, AWM, AWL...
- Type training or equivalent experience on the AIRBUS aircraft family. Additional experience on A300/A310 would be a plus.

Communication Skills:
Ability to present and discuss at management level within Airbus and with customers in case of reporting/escalation.- Establish and maintain professional relationships with a diverse international work force.
- Ability to understand and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information.
- Ability to read, understand and follow instructions to solve complex structural/mechanical/electrical problems.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft office and SAP
- Fluent English, Spanish would be a plus.
Travel Required:
40% Domestic and International travel required- Be flexible to travel on short notice and for varying, sometimes extensive periods

Able to work outside hangers in changing locations. Able to work on movable lifts at the aircraft.
- Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents):able to walk through office and production areas sometimes on uneven surfaces to reach meetings, visitors and direct other meetings.
