Full Job Description

We are a church looking for praise and worship singers who are excited about their craft and willing to bring that excitement every rehearsal and our Sunday worship service.

The singers we are seeking must be familiar singing gospel type music. Also be openly flexible with any all changes in keys or any song structure.

The Church:

Word Life Church is a spirit filled church that is based in Chandler, Az. Our vision is to see families empower through the Word of God for the rest of their lives.

Worshiper Synopsis:

This position assists our Worship team in creating and executing a powerful worship experience flowing in the spirit.

Regular Ministry Schedule

• Thursday at 6:00pm (Rehersal)
• Sunday at 8:30AM (Run through). Official service begins at 10am.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

A committed Christian who is comfortable working in a Church environment and is like-minded regarding our Christian Beliefs (See Beliefs on our website. wordlife.church) with the following qualifications:

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities and Primary Responsibilities:

• Must possess a strong commitment to Jesus Christ and live a life in line with the word of God.

• During rehearsal, be flexible with changes to ensure the worship flows.
• Be willing to take constructive feedback and make changes.
• Be on stage to setup 10-15 minutes before rehearsal time is scheduled to start.
• Be responsible to show up at appropriate times & communicate with the worship team if there are issues.
• Commit to the time and weekend that you are scheduled.
• Adhere to Compass Christian Church Stage dress code.

Job Types: Internship, Contract

Pay: $1.00 per month

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Weekend availability
