Job Summary

The Yardi Support Analyst has overall responsibility for the administration, support, and security of critical business applications with a specialized focus on Yardi. Position responsibilities include ensuring the secure and effective operation of the software used by the company with a focus on identifying improvement opportunities or solutions that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology to help end users be more efficient.

Skills

The position requires a strong knowledge base of business processes, business system analysis techniques, current programming languages as required, operating systems, and equipment. Position also requires strong verbal and written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Position requires outstanding time management skills and the ability to multi-task, produce quality output, and meet set deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities

Personal

• Model mission and values of UDC.
• Promote company at all times.
• Project a professional image in all aspects of work performance, which includes, but is not limited to personal habits, demeanor, and attire.
• Meet company standards on conduct, attendance, etc.
• Demonstrate good communication skills and help ensure positive communication with staff, coworkers, vendors, agencies, owners, and the community.

Overall

• Acting as a liaison between management and end users to determine the needs of the system.
• Manage information, operations, software, and operating systems and make recommendations for solutions or improvements that can be accomplished through new technology or alternative uses of existing technology.
• Troubleshoot software issues and provide support to users as needed.
• Design, develop, implement, and coordinate systems, policies, and procedures.
• Stay up to date with advances in technology and industry best practices.

Systems Support

• Assess and monitor company systems and modules, system performance, information, and plans by conducting regular analyses with documented recommendations for improvement opportunities.
• Examine current business and end-user processes by translating business requirements into software solutions and update accordingly as effective solutions for business system issues are identified and implemented.
• Using techniques such as model building, testing, data models, and structured analysis along with accounting principles to improve the flow of information and ensure the solution is efficient, cost-effective, and financially feasible.
• Developing specifications, diagrams, flow charts, documented procedures, and work instructions for users to follow.
• Establish specifications for new projects by developing project goals, team members, phases, and budgets as required.
• Overseeing implementation, coordinating tests, and observing initiation of the system to validate performance.
• Provide new employees with the necessary software setup and orientation.

Other

• Other responsibilities and projects, as necessary.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or relevant field.
• 3+ years of progressive experience in a Yardi Voyager driven environment.
• Ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Highly analytical mindset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Accomplished in SQL report writing.
• Experience working with third-party consultants.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
