Mission
We are looking for a safety conscious employee to work in and around our yard. This is a general laborer position that will be responsible for various projects around the plant and grounds.
Skills & Abilities
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret scale tickets, Alaska DOT regulations and all required certifications.
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as percentages and volume.
- High degree of reasoning ability and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interact well with others in a reasonable and respectful manner.
- Work well with diverse personalities.
Education/Experience
- High school diploma or GED.
Physical Requirements
The physical demands described below are representative of those that must be met in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and balance.
- Uses hands and fingers, handles objects, feels, reaches with hands and arms.
- Work while being exposed to a variety of weather conditions (heat, cold, wind, rain, snow, etc.).
- Ability to lift 50 pounds. Anything over 50 pounds requires assistance.
