Quality Tool & Stamping

A family owned business since 1957 is looking for 2nd shift CNC Press Brake Set Up.

Work Hours: 2nd shift 3:30 pm - 2:00 am Monday-Thursday (Overtime may be necessary on Friday)

Performs set-up on CNC Press Brake. Operate one or more computer numeric control or numeric control machines to perform laser, press brake or turret operations. The machine is programmed to automatically follow pre-established methods.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Performs set-up on CNC Press Brake and submits parts for first piece inspection.

Informs operator on operational instructions for the job and any additional safety criteria.

Maintains CNC Press Brake tooling fixture.

Safely load and operate CNC Press Brake.

Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Conduct in process inspections to ensure quality specification are met or exceeded.

Conduct preventive maintenance as required.

Safe operation of fork lift.

Sort and/or rework parts as needed.

Qualification:

Education and/or Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. manuals. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measures, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written, oral, instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
