We are currently seeking to hire a 2nd Shift Warehouse Supervisor for our food manufacturing facility in Hillside, NJ.

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily warehousing activities. Warehouse Supervisors will implement shipping, receiving, production, productivity, and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits. The Warehouse Supervisor will lead a team of inventory/warehouse workers to receive and record new stock as it comes in and move stock onto trucks. Warehouse Supervisors will assist in monitoring stock, FIFO levels and ensure trucks are loaded in a timely manner. Assist in training new employees, ensure paperwork is correct, along with other duties.

2nd Shift is worked Mon – Thu 4 pm-2:30 am. Sunday-6 am-2:30 pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Checking in drivers, inspecting trailers, and processing pull sheets
• Quality checks to ensure trucks are loaded properly with the correct pallets
• Generating Ship Notes, BOL’s, Packing Lists, and COA’s
• Reporting on Warehouse inventory and performing cycle counts
• Manage all production lines are to insure all finished goods slotted and inventoried daily.
• Assisting the Warehouse Manager in all areas of the Warehouse

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• 3-5 years’ experience preferred in Warehouse Supervisory and or Logistics related.
• Prior supervisory experience in a warehouse environment required
• Knowledge of warehouse operations and merchandise flow.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, including the ability to communicate with all levels of management
• Flexible work schedule
• Strong administrative skills
• Ability to prioritize work based on delivery schedule
• Proficient in MS Outlook, Excel, Word and other systems
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the US, now and in the future, without sponsorship.
