Product Marketing Manager 3

Juniper's marketing team is seeking a high-caliber Product Marketing Manager 3 to fuel our continued growth and expansion with Service Providers. This role will focus on driving exciting innovations within Juniper portfolio through product & field marketing. The position requires a solid marketing background and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. This individual will develop a clear and compelling product and solution messaging and effectively define and execute marketing strategies to land in the market. Deliverables include customer-facing materials and sales enablement assets, such as presentations, thought leadership content, videos, blogs, whitepapers, media/analyst material, and other product/solution marketing assets.

We're looking for a dedicated, energetic, and creative product marketing professional who can own, drive, and accelerate various aspects of Juniper's networking infrastructure growth across the target segments.

The position is based at Juniper Headquarters in Sunnyvale, CA. Exceptional, motivated candidates located elsewhere in the U.S. will be considered.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop compelling product/solution content in close partnership with product management, broader product marketing, and field marketing. You enjoy creating high quality narrative content in various forms for different audiences.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, and corporate communications. You excel at unravelling complex technical concepts and communicating them clearly to various audiences.
  • Recruit internal and external contributors while ensuring consistent messaging. You thrive in an environment where you pore through vast amounts of research & data and interview Juniper SMEs to craft stories that resonate with Juniper sales teams and influence customers.
  • Present product/solutions to customers, partners, sales teams, and other internal stakeholders. You have a strategic mindset with a relentless focus on the value your content and messaging deliver to your audiences.
  • Own and monitor relevant market trends and competitive shifts.
  • Analyze customer and sales data where appropriate to guide strategic marketing plans and provide insights to product management and other stakeholders.
  • Possess strong project management skills and demonstrated ability to execute complex programs successfully.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in product/solution/field marketing, content development, or sales enablement.
  • Track record of success marketing technology solutions to Service Provider industry segments.
  • Content maven. Enjoy developing compelling, clear, interesting content for Sales teams and end customers.
  • Dependable self-starter, taking ownership of and executing projects to drive success for the business, working independently and within a team. Get-stuff-done mentality.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Must be organized and dependable. Sets deadlines and meets them.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Experience in one or more of the following technology areas: routing, switching, core/peering/DC networking, network automation.
  • Bachelor's degree from top tier school. MBA preferred.
