About the Job

Responsible for maintaining active status for all providers by successfully completing initial and subsequent credentialing packages as required by the company, commercial payers, Medicare and Medicaid, as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a list of providers under the ABA Program that includes: Psychologists, Social Workers and BCBAs with information related to submission or enrollment to payers.
• Ensures that provider list is current for annual insurance coverage and requests insurance broker for Certificate of Insurance for any additional providers within the year.
• Assists New Hires in registration or account creation with CAQH and obtaining National Provider Identifier number.
• Ensures that CAQH accounts of assigned providers have the correct information
• Ensures that all providers submit updated licenses and or liability insurance.
• Maintains accurate provider profiles on CAQH, PECOS, NPPES, and CMS databases.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or equivalent and one year experience in a medical practice.
• Knowledge of provider credentialing and its direct impact on the practice’s revenue cycle
• Excellent customer service skills
