The School of Education and Human Development (EHD) seek applicants for an Academic Writing Coach for the EHD Ed.D Program. Under the direction of the EDLF Ed.D. faculty members, the incumbent engages with the Ed.D. students to provide guidance and mentorship on their academic writing. Occasional nights/weekends work is required.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide elaborative and timely written feedback on student work.
• Coach Ed.D. students on academic writing grammar and mechanics.
• Assist Ed.D. students in developing a literature review, including how and where to search for cited material.
• Meet with Ed.D. students as their schedules allow; including evenings and/or weekend hours.
• Provide mentorship and encouragement to students, especially those who are new to the Ed.D. program

Required Education/Experience

• Master's degree with at least 2 years of experience in professional education setting.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and other program constituents.
• Multicultural awareness and competence, and ability to work in a diverse environment.

This position will work remotely.
