More about the role:

You will conduct and document tests, design test fixtures, design tests to validate new designs, and ensure all data is correct. Duties include conducting tests, writing technical reports, designing tests, writing programs, and performing analysis via Electrification Data. These positions also require the development of advanced instrumentation knowledge, CAD software, and computer skills. Role includes:

• Sensor- based data acquisition
• Electrification actuation
• Perform post process analysis of data received from the acquisition equipment
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, pneumatic and structural problems
• Operate electronic instrumentation in multiple configurations, which includes transducers, sensors, strain gages, and measurement devices
• Perform electrical examination
• Provide results in a clear and concise lab report

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical/mechanical engineering required, or equivalent related work experience
• 5+ years’ related work experience in electrical testing and sensor-based data acquisition; preference for mechanical and electrical engineering experience blend
• Strong computer skills, including MS Office with CAD, Pro-E/ Solid Works preferred
• Willingness to learn advanced measurement and additional skills
• Test design experience
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Detail- orientated
• Thrives in fast-paced environment where priorities may change
• Excellent communication skills
