Imagine One Technology & Management is currently seeking Access Control personnel “contingent” on award of the associated work to the Imagine One Team. This position supports the U.S. Marine Corps in Quantico, Virginia.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Serves as an Access Control Assistant responsible for assisting the facility and physical security office managers in the day-to-day administrative operations of the site.
- Provides access control assistance to the command/site as prescribed in DoD and command directives, instructions, manuals, and regulations.
- Utilize databases such as Defense Information System for Security (DISS) Joint Personnel Adjudication System (JPAS), Scattered Castles, Visit Authorization System, and approved manual records system to verify visitors.
- Maintain visit record logs as directed.
- Issue visitor and temporary badges to visitors and command/site personnel.
- Provides 100% accuracy in granting access only to properly cleared and authorized visitors.
- Screening incoming and outgoing documents and/or packages that are hand carried by visitors or command/site personnel, to ensure that they are properly wrapped and transported in accordance with policy
- Become familiar with and utilize command/site Intrusion Detection System (IDS) and alarm station.
- Conduct detailed turnovers with command/site supervisors and personnel; conduct and complete end-of-day checklists; and properly open/close facilities. Required to open and close secured area.
- Develops and maintains relationships, with customers, security managers, and co-workers.
- Assists in development, maintenance, and execution of standard operating procedures, and ensures all are in alignment with operations.
- Escort guests as needed.
Experience Requirements:
- 2 - 4 years of experience working in government or related setting.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and process information and requests from external and internal personnel.
- Attention to detail and deadlines as well as strong critical thinking skills.
- Prior experience in an SAP or SCI environment is desired.
Educational Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
Security Requirements:
- U.S. Citizenship required.
- Requires final DoD Top Secret clearance and ability to upgrade and maintain SCI access. No open investigations.
