Mountain View Hospital is looking for an Accountant to join our team!
JOB SUMMARY:
Accurately account for all the activity of the business and provide financial reports and analytics to management.

Please note benefits are based on eligibility according to full-time, part-time or PRN status classification.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performs accounting, budgeting, and finance activities.
2. Achieves accurate and timely preparation and dissemination of monthly financial statements.
3. Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
4. Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options.
5. Prepares payments by verifying documentation, and requesting disbursements.
6. Analyzes financial results to gain understanding of the organization’s financial performance and communicates the financial results to senior management.
7. Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
8. Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.
9. Completes special projects for Controller and others as determined.

Education/Certification: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. Strong general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax, and banking knowledge.
Experience: Minimum of three to five years of accounting experience.
Equipment/Technology: Needs to be proficient in Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel and Outlook) and have excellent computer skills. Knowledge and experience with various accounting software. Experience with Oracle Cloud preferred but not required.
Language/Communication: Must have the ability to effectively read, write, and speak English.
Mathematical Skills: Must possess business and analytical mathematical skills commensurate with responsibility.
Mental Capabilities: Attention to detail, ability to focus, prioritize projects, maintain a long attention span, and be able to multi-task.
Interpersonal: Strong interpersonal skills needed.
Performance: Work under pressure of meeting monthly reporting deadlines.
