We are looking to hire someone to become a member of our team in an Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable position .

The person in this role is responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts payable and receivable process, including but not limited to, applying invoice payments, processing invoices, and record-keeping. This role will also maintain vendor account records, resolve billing discrepancies, and communicate with vendors to ensure order accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in these areas of accounting, excellent attention to detail, and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Performs a wide range of tasks including answering the telephone, word processing, accounts receivable & accounts payable processes, and filing.
• Sort incoming mail & distributing it accordingly to appropriate recipient.
• Create and maintain customer records in database.
• Follow up with vendors on sales order acknowledgement accuracy, deliveries, and any purchasing concerns.
• Perform weekly payment check run.
• Respond to routine requests for information in a timely manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
