Accounts Payable Clerk – Simply Biotech

OVERVIEW

Immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Clerk in San Diego, CA who possesses:

• 1-2 years AP experience
• Office admin experience
• AP Software experience (QuickBooks, Soho, JD)

FULL DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices accurately and timely
• Process vendor payments in compliance with policies and controls
• Conduct 3-way and 2-way invoice match to purchase order
• Collaborate with purchasing team to resolve invoice to purchase order discrepancies
• Post vendor advances/prepayments in accordance with company policy
• Reconcile vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
• Research and resolve supplier disputes and issues
• Maintains and updates vendor master files, in accordance with process and controls
• Run month end reporting, save to be accessible for control testing and external audit
• Process Improvement and Project Management
• Ensure that the requests by the internal/external auditors for the annual audit and quarter reviews are accurately and timely prepared in support of public company requirements
• Identifies and/or supports continuous improvements to systems, processes, and internal controls
• Supporting ad-hoc accounting projects and analysis as required

Requirements:

• 1-2 years Accounts Payable Experience
• Strong computer skills: NetSuite, Excel Word, Adobe
• Excellent verbal & written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Biotechnology experience preferred
• Ability to effectively present information on a regular basis to management, and other as needed
