Pay Range $16.00 to $21.00 per hour

Purpose of Position:

This position is responsible for all internal and external mail which includes opening, distributing and batching. It is also responsible for scanning and linking receiving documents. This position works as a team with the scanning clerk and will backup scanning within Accounts Payable early and late archiving, receivers, POD’s, Commodity Accounts Payable and BOL’s and Accounts Receivable debit and credit memos. As well as sorting and filing all scanned batches. Help in the invoice validation process by page breaking invoices and validating dates and amounts. The responsibilities of this position are monitored individually and reported on AP weekly metrics as a team.

Essential Job Functions:

Responsible for opening, separating, and distributing mail

Will be responsible for scanning invoices, BOL, and receiving documents and for linking receiving documents

Responsible for separating/filing documents and for distributing and filing statements

Additional Functions:

Pull copies for other departments

Research problems that may arise

Assignments given by supervisor or manager

Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent

Must have basic computer skills and general office experience.

Ten-Key by Touch

Ability to work independently be detail oriented

Strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to handle confidential records

Ability to operate as part of a team
