Accounts Receivable Tech (Fiscal Tech II), Salary Range: $30,514 – $37,128 per year,

This position will be responsible for the accurate accounting services to students, sponsors, and campus administrators. Specifically, this position manages sponsor accounts receivables which includes contract maintenance, invoicing, and collection. Manages the exemptions for students who qualify, including updating the exemption contract. Manages the due diligence process involving the automated collection letter process. Prepares and executes the write off process for delinquent accounts, prepares file of uncollected accounts to be sent to collection agency. Assists with establishing payment plans. Minimum Requirements: Associate’s degree with 12 semester hours of accounting related courses and 2 years clerical accounting or bookkeeping experience, or high school diploma and 4 years related experience; or equivalent education and experience. Familiarity with automated invoice processing and State of South Carolina procurement regulation preferred. Some computer experience including common business software (i.e., MS Office) required. Must be able to work extended mandatory hours at peak periods.

Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions)
Associate’s degree with 12 semester hours of accounting related courses and 2 years clerical accounting or bookkeeping experience, or high school diploma and 4 years related experience; or equivalent education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with automated invoice processing and State of South Carolina procurement regulation preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Knowledge of office policies, procedures, rules, regulations and equipment. Knowledge of accounting/bookkeeping principles and practices. Knowledge of South Carolina tax laws, rules and regulation. Ability to perform mathematical concepts. Ability to interpret and apply financial procedures and regulations. Ability to perform analysis of financial records. Ability to supervise subordinate staff members. Ability to communicate effectively. Some computer experience including common business software (i.e., MS Office) and common office equipment required. Must be able to participate in and work harmoniously in a diverse environment.
