New assisted living facility located in The Villages looking for an additional member to join our Activities Team! We are looking for someone that shows a ton of positivity, energy, and creativity. Your goal is to stimulate our elderly guests and keep them physically and mentally active. Our company will provide you with a monthly calendar and the supplies needed so all your focus can be on creating the most inviting and interactive experience you can! Our facility has both assisted living and memory care residents (i.e. Alzheimer's, dementia, etc), so a lively and patient personality is a must! We are always open to new ideas for fun activities, so creativity is adored.

The position reports to the Activities Supervisor, who will work with management on developing the activity program for you to follow. We are looking for someone who can work independently without supervision but also someone who can work as a duo. Must be able to reliably get to work on time and be on your feet for extended periods of time.

Prior experience is great but we encourage anyone with a positive attitude and a lot of energy to apply!

Responsibilities will include:

- Helping plan, schedule, implement, and evaluate programs of individual/or group activities based on the resident's needs.

- Escorting residents to and from activities.

- Maintain sufficient activity supplies.

- Developing and maintaining a pleasant and pleasing environment in the activities room.

- Ability to work well with people.

- Responsible for coordination, facilitation and quality of the Activities Enrichment Program.

- Ability to implement the goals of the program.

- A self-directed position.

- Communicating regularly with the Administrator and other staff for exchange information.

Must be able to pass a level two background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
