Batesville is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join our team in La Mirada, CA. As an Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for working under general direction of the Director, FP&A, providing diversified secretarial and clerical duties for executives/managers and the department. This position requires you to maintain strict confidentiality while performing essential duties and responsibilities.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist the department by performing clerical and secretarial duties including the following:
  • Maintain files and reports, retrieving information as required.
  • Receive and distribute incoming and outgoing mail (Director & Sales Team), including mailing of regional notification letters to customer base.
  • Order and maintain office supplies, sales mailroom & daily price sheet request by customers, sales consultants/reps and service centers.
  • Ensure timely exchange of monthly data among business partners, field inquiries from sales colleagues, initiate investigation with assistance from the Director and communicate resolution.
  • Coordinate annual pricing initiative for sales colleagues. Determining allotment by sales territory and service center combination. Provide customer addresses and delivery mode (mail, email, face to face delivery) to marketing partner.
  • Serve as Data Integrity customer set-up backup.
  • Participate in other ad hoc analysis projects and special assignments as needed.
  • Other duties may be assigned

Basic Requirements:

· Minimum High School Diploma / GED required

· At least 3 years’ experience in administrative office or other relevant work required

· Familiar with warehouse and logistics admin support

· Basic computer skills

· Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook

Great to Haves:

· Dependable, honest, quick learner, good communication skills and team player

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

· Customer service experience is a plus

· Dispatching experience is a plus
