American Mountain Technical (AMT) is seeking an Administrative Clerk to join our professional family. Do you have experience juggling multiple administrative tasks which might include: scheduling appointments, ordering office supplies, answering phones, and using excel? AMT was founded in 2016 and specializes in the design, fabrication, and manufacturing of Department of Transportation Industrial Packages for the transportation and disposition of hazardous wastes. In addition, our design engineers work to produce highly specialized stainless steel products to extremely low tolerances in support of scientific applications.

The ideal candidate has experience in a wide range of office administration tasks but is strong in Microsoft word and typing. Can manage multiple tasks concurrently and collaborate with a team. Will bring a positive attitude to our professional family office environment. Must have strong communication skills, Microsoft outlook experience, and Excel experience. The position requires exceptional customer service skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs clerical, secretarial, and administrative duties. Assignments generally involve work of a confidential nature and require knowledge of the practices, policies, and procedures of the company.
  • Maintains files and keeps records.
  • Greet visitors at the front door.
  • Prepare conference room set up for meetings.
  • Maintaining the shared kitchen and restocking as needed
  • Manages all office supplies and restocks as needed.
  • Assist in expense reports.
  • Schedule meetings and arrange Teams meeting logistics.
  • Resolve situations utilizing problem-solving skills and provide immediate follow-up to both customers and supervisors.
  • Run errands and perform deliveries as requested.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or its equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in administrative-type work.
  • Must exhibit strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Must possess excellent organizational, clerical, and time-management skills.
  • Must have experience with Excel.
  • Must be experienced with Microsoft Office.
  • Must demonstrate a high regard for professionalism and customer service.
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to multitask.
