Job description
Family Service League is seeking a Part-Time Administrative Clerk who will be an integral part of the administrative staff of the Finance Department. Reporting to the Controller, the Clerk will perform duties in support of all Accounting, Budgeting, Claiming and Accounts Payable functions in the Department.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assemble backup required for accountants for contract claiming process
- Report daily on cash receipts to Controller and Billing Vendor
- Review, sort and scan department mail and invoices
- Maintain and file records and associated documentation
- Maintain weekly deposit information on shared drive and Bank system
- Track and reconcile remittances for major County programs
- Assist Accounts Payable in mailing checks and requistion processing
- All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
- At least 6 months related experience experience required, preferably in a non-profit environment.
- Strong organizational, proble solving and communication skills, both verbal and written required.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment also required.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office, especially Excel, as well as prior experience working with electronic requisition and accounts payable systems required.
