Job description
We are seeking an Admissions Assistant to join our team of devoted healthcare professionals to assist with coordinating all appropriate admissions into our Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Long-Term Care communities. This employee will report to the Admissions Coordinator.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with referral inquiries
- Review clinical documentation to assure appropriateness of the resident/patient
- Complete all admission paperwork with resident/patient or family member
- Give tours of the community to prospective residents/patients and families
- Maintain professional relationships internally and externally
- Support the Admissions Coordinator by completing insurance verifications and authorizations as required
Qualifications:
- Prior experience preferred
- Exceptional customer service experience
- Detailed orientated
- Ability to Multi-Task
- Strong organizational abilities
- Experience working in a healthcare setting.
- Associate degree or Bachelors preferred.
