The East Hawaii Medical Group is in search of an Advance Practice Provider (APP) for the East Hawaii Health Clinic to provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology care. The East Hawaii Region of Hawaii Health Systems Corporation consists of Hilo Medical Center, Ka’u Hospital Hale Ho’ola Hamakua, the Yukio Okutsu State Veterans Home and the East Hawaii Health Clinics.

Job Summary
This Advanced Practice Provider position is listed for the East Hawaii Health Clinic – Cardiology. The function of the Cardiology clinic is to provide inpatient and outpatient care for patients of Hawaii Island. The APP performs physical exams, makes diagnoses, prescribes medication, treats conditions, and counsels patients, among other responsibilities. The provider also coordinates and renders professional medical advice, makes decisions based on evaluations, diagnoses, rehabilitation, referral and treatment services for cardiology patients as well as Cardiac rehab patients.

Licensure
