Amada Press Brake Operator

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Hands on knowledge of Amada Press Brake operation.
• Demonstrated abilities in machine set-up and fabrication of sheet metal components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, communicate clearly.
• Accurate math skills including algebra and geometry.
• Ability to use all types of inspection tools including calipers, height gage etc.
• Maintain established safety practices in set-up and operation of equipment.
• Self motivated, desire to learn and grow with company.
• Work with tight tolerances.
• Produce parts for assembly operations.
• Meet customer specifications and delivery requirements

Technical Requirements

• Working knowledge of Amada Press Brakes utilizing NC controls.
• Complete knowledge of Brake tooling and applications.
• Perform visual, dimensional and first part inspection of components.
• Perform in process quality checks (S.P.C.) of critical components to meet established requirements.
• Personal tools to meet the requirements of the position.
