Our Technical Operations team is full of aircraft maintenance technicians, engineers, planners, ground equipment and facilities professionals, and supply chain teams that help make sure they’re well taken care of and ready to get our customers to their desired destinations. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyst will have a passion for strategy and analytics with the willingness to dig deep into details as well as the ability to assess the big picture. Sets priorities, focuses resources, strengthens operations and ensures Network, NOC, TO planning and TO execution are working towards common goals. Establishes agreement around intended results and adjust direction in response to a changing aircraft availability and maintenance environment. Leads projects from conception to completion: assess capacity environment, lead quantitative and qualitative analysis, and develop and present recommendations. Is responsible for the effort to optimize aircraft maintenance visits with a focus on the future. Leads impact analysis, cost-benefit analysis, assess change readiness, and identify/engage key partners for short term to long-term aircraft maintenance strategy.
- Identity allocations vital to support both base maintenance and line special visit maintenance activities and coordinate with Network Planning to minimize impact to flight schedule
- Optimize maintenance allocation utilization by identifying creative solutions to cover unplanned aircraft maintenance in addition to monitoring unassigned allocation and developing strategies to consume using base and line resources.
- Own and distribute as required the Aircraft Available to Schedule report, Aircraft Service Level report, Unused Maintenance Allocation Model and updates for the Base Maintenance Check Airframe Status report
- Lead weekly, monthly and other periodic reviews of maintenance allocation requirements including detailed analysis of past and future data to assess fleet trends
- Work directly with Network on aircraft availability changes and schedule accommodations for 18 months of planning
- Build long-term aircraft availability forecasts for estimates through 2026 by coordinating different maintenance and operational needs from a variety of groups
- Act as single point of contact with Network Operations Planning and NOC to ensure coverage for all planned visits and implementing plans to cover out of service aircraft.
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree
- 2-3 years of experience in using data analysis/quantitative modeling techniques (e.g. optimization, spreadsheet)
- Project Management or Lean Six Sigma certification
- A&P Certification
- Experience in strategy, planning, forecasting, continuous improvement, or maintenance/aircraft scheduling function
- Knowledge of high-level operations principals as well as capacity planning and strategy frameworks to drive financial performance
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with ability to interact at all levels (including executive) and team with all internal and external business partners
- Must be performance management oriented
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
- Reliable, punctual attendance is a requirement of the position.
