We are seeking an Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) Software Engineer to join our Virtual + Interactive team and build cutting edge visualization tools and simulations. We are working on everything from interactive product marketing demos to advanced virtual prototypes of mechanisms and processes.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with other passionate programmers and designers to create immersive digital experiences using augmented and virtual reality techniques in Unreal and Unity Engines. Create custom software to connect Augmented/Mixed/Virtual Reality (AR/MR/VR) experiences for advanced analytics and artificial intelligence. Interface with researchers to design solutions for replication of the real-world visual and functionalities. Think critically, collaborate with the team, take general problem scope and direction, and plan and develop solutions that fit within project objectives. Previous experience working in a healthcare environment is a plus.
Requirements:- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or relevant degree
- 4 – 7 years of experience with C++, Python, C#
- Experience with AR/VR development in Unreal Engine and Unity
- Experience with UI/UX programming and design
- Ability to produce technical documentation and create design artifacts
- Ability to work effectively with remote teams
- Ability to obtain a security clearance (if required)
- Experience with working in an Agile environment with project tracking tools, including Jira
- Experience in creating Virtual Reality environments
- Experience with data visualization
- Experience in working with source control using Perforce, SVN, or Plastic
- Knowledge of mathematics and physics
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong business comprehension skills to acquire requirements and transform into development requirements
- Must be local and willing to work in the office on a hybrid model (3 days in office and 2 days remote)
NOTE: Portfolio of completed projects is required. Locals preferred. No relocation allowance offered.
