Mead & Hunt, an award-winning national architecture and engineering firm, has continued to exceed our strategic growth initiatives creating opportunity for our current and prospective team members. As a result, a part-time position is available for an entry level architect in our office in Madison, WI.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include design and documentation of architectural construction documents, making changes based on redlines and the ability to work as part of a team coordinating with multi-disciplinary in-house team members and sub-consultants; and working closely with clients and contractor/developer design/build partners.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have experience designing and documenting projects in Revit, creating visualizations using SketchUp, Rhino or other software, and developing project deliverables or executing construction projects from pre-design to closeout.
The successful candidate will have the following background:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Architecture or, if in another discipline, also an Associate’s degree in Architectural Technology or related field.
- Ability and desire to pursue licensure
The following experience is highly desired:
- Experience designing projects in Revit
- Experience preparing visualizations using software such as Sketchup, Lumion, or Rhino
- Excellent verbal and graphic communication skills
