Architect - Hybrid Role, 3 Days In Office
We are seeking a highly skilled Architect to join our team for a hybrid role, where you will be working in our office for three days a week. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor of Architecture or Master of Architecture degree, with a minimum of six years of relevant experience and proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
As an Architect, you will be responsible for the technical design of a major project, researching, evaluating and recommending solutions that meet client requirements. You will provide architectural consultation on large complex projects, and apply advanced architectural concepts and designs. You will also independently take on complex assignments and guide less experienced architects.
In addition to your technical expertise, you should also possess strong collaboration skills. You should have knowledge of project phases and actively participate in project meetings. You should be proficient in written communication and able to prepare meeting notes, while also adhering to project schedules and maintaining self-checking of work. You should be able to coordinate work with internal team and sub-consultants, participate in client presentations and refine portfolio in one market sector.
Your design experience should demonstrate creativity and ability to adapt design solutions. You should be able to integrate interior design with architecture, understand space planning conventions and select appropriate materials. You should also be able to assist with the development of design solutions, present multiple schemes, and utilize computer-aided visualization skills to support design concepts. You will produce building project documentation and adhere to conventions, perform site observation and accurately perform numeric tasks. You will also demonstrate knowledge of building codes and prepare code surveys and drawings.
Finally, you should have construction capabilities, maintaining resource materials and knowledge of costs, participate in value engineering exercises and coordinate with project team. You will also review and file shop drawings and submittals, coordinate with construction team and attend construction phase meetings, as well as coordinate with internal CA team and processes.
