Assembler – Rebuild & New Compressors -2nd shift

Description -

What you will do:

New compressor assembly, rebuild disassembly, assembly of Frick and other manufactured compressors.

Will train on 1st shift and move to 2nd shift after training is completed.

Starting rate is $27.22/hour plus an additional $1.50/hour shift premium when moved to 2nd shift.

How you will do it

Dismantle compressors with the proper tooling:

Hand tools (pneumatic and electrical equipment)

100 – Ton Press

Oxygen acetylene torch

Design and Fabricate methods to safely dismantle locked compressors

Evaluate the condition of internal compressor components after dismantling.

Using the proper measuring devices, check compressor components for wear and for improperly machined surfaces.

Determine the root cause of the compressor failure, and report to supervisor.

With minimal direction from others determine which parts are scrap, re-workable, and re-useable.

Use power and hand tools to assure accurate fitting and complete alignment of parts to provide a properly

functioning compressor which will pass all test requirements.

Maintain teardown reports, log books, P.M. schedules, time sheets and other related materials.

Perform the necessary material handling associated with the job .
