POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Camp Supervisor ("ACS") assists the Coordinator, Recreation Programing ("Coordinator") with managing the summer camp program. Specifically, the ACS is responsible for managing the daily schedule, leading group supervisors and counselors, opening/closing duties, paperwork, behavior issues, and working with the Coordinator on weekly activities and electives. The ACS will work in a variety of environments, both indoors and outdoors, for extended periods of time.
Work is performed during regularly scheduled hours, and will involve additional hours, as needed. The position is non-exempt under the Federal Fair Labor Standards Act.
SELECTION GUIDELINES
The successful candidate must be eligible to work in the United States and, upon commencement of employment, will be subject to employment eligibility verification. In addition, the successful candidate will be subject to a background investigation, a pre-employment physical, drug and alcohol test, and certification of the candidate’s compliance with the Township’s Nepotism Policy.
