Job Summary and Qualifications

Interact with Regional Services financial management and HCA Division leadership regarding financial and operational activities as needed. Assist VP Finance with financial and operational activities include; financial projections and reporting, practice evaluations, economic strategies, budgeting, policy support and development. Participate in the development, implementation and evaluation of company accounting standards and processes. Coordinate duties of Angel and Highlands facility based financial analysts.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Responsible for supervision of Angel and Highlands facility based financial analysts finance personnel and provide direction to finance personnel in East region and Transvlvania as needed.
• Direct and review all activities relating to job duties.
• Assist VP of Finance with completion of financial reports to meet specified deadlines.
• Assist VP of Finace with completion of stastical reporting at month end and during the month.
• Assist with preparation of various reports which summarize and forecast business activity and financial position.
• Conduct physician contract reviews to validate all payments.
• Review monthly journal entries as required to accurately close the monthly fiscal period.
• Review monthly financial Balance Sheet reconcilations
• Support the VP of Finance in the Chief Staffing Officer role.
• Responsible for the daily maintenance of the PLUS productivity systems
• Assists VP of Finance and hospital CEO in completing MOR reports.
• Assist with review monthly reports for key indicators and statistics.
• Assist Angel and Highlands Facility operations as needed with financial information requests and questions.
• Assist as needed with monthly reports or returns required by regulatory agencies.
• Participate in development and detailed review of annual operating budgets and financial projections.
• Responsible for preparing weekly projections
• Assist in preparing various reports or returns required by regulatory agencies.
• Assist with internal compliance audits as required.
• Assist in the enforcement and implementation of HCA accounting standards.
• Maintain strictest confidentiality to ensure that privileged and/or proprietary information is adequately safeguarded against disclosure.
• Accurate and timely completion of monthly post closing review guide reporting requirements
• Maintains companies compliance at the facility of SOX internal controls.
• Completes HCA quarterly internal Control Assessment
• Assists Division Controller and CFO on as needed basis
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to remain informed of changing industry trends and government regulations.
• Drive and adhere to the "Code of Conduct" philosophy and "Mission and Value Statement" standards.

What qualifications you will need:

REQUIRED EDUCATION - Bachelor of Arts or Science Degree in accounting or other business-related field.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE - 2 years of progressive accounting/financial experience. Health Care Experience preferred. CPA firm or corporate experience in auditing also preferred.

CERTIFICATE/LICENSE - CPA license highly preferred.
