Position Summary:

Fortune Swimwear is a leader in the swimwear industry. We are a private label swimwear company that has been in business for 20+ years. Fortune is a fast-growing company looking to grow our design team. We are looking for a highly creative and driven individual to help assist our designers in a fast-paced environment. This position is perfect for someone who is organized, detail oriented and very proficient in AI and PS programs. The perfect candidate, in addition to being organized, is able to multi-task and willing to do what it takes to get the job done. Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Design

· A design or relate degree with 2-4 years of experience

· A thorough understanding of textile construction, color and printing techniques

· Ability to do flat drawings/ sketches of design prototypes in Illustrator

· Able to interpret trends and translate them to fit our customer

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Ability to meet deadlines

· Ability to take direction and work in a team environment

· Strong interpersonal skills

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Fluent in Photoshop, Illustrator and Excel

Responsibilities:

· Assist in creating & maintaining design cards with detailed flat sketches, fabric & trim information

· Create and maintain line sheets

· Create presentation materials including mood bords, pamphlets and books

· Organize and maintain fabric and trim library

· Manage buyer sample process

· Assist Sales with Design related functions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $37.15 per hour

Experience:

• Fashion design: 1 year (Preferred)
