Animal Care Center of Carters Creek is searching for a veterinary professional to join our team as Assistant Kennel Manager.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who have prior experience in a veterinary clinic and are confident leading a team. Candidates must be reliable, friendly, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Overseeing our team of kennel assistants and providing training to new hires
• Team scheduling and communicating daily assignments
• Animal handling, feeding, and cleaning (dogs and cats)
• Medication administration
• Observation of behaviors, and knowing when to alert a veterinarian about a change in one of the patients
• Client communication and education
• General hospital cleaning, restocking, sterilization, etc.
• Assisting with phone lines and front desk duties as needed
