Joplin 44 is looking for an entrepreneurial motivated Assistant Manager for the Iron Skillet Restaurant. This is a successful company that multiple locations and is focused on creating a unique experience for each of their customers. The Iron Skillet Restaurant has been serving the professional truck drivers and the motoring public from all over the country for years! We have acquired our reputation both for the superb quality of food and our excellent customer service. The ideal Assistant Manager candidate is extremely hands-on, has an entrepreneurial spirit, and has a passion for customer service. This person needs to be able to successfully lead and motivate an entire BOH and FOH restaurant team with minimal direction. This is an exceptional opportunity for a talented Assistant Manager who is looking to join an established company that truly values their employees and customers and demonstrates an ownership mentality.

$17 an hour with a 45-hour work week = $41,000!

Requirements:

• 1+ years Supervisor experience
• Must have knowledge in food preparation, presentation and portion control
• Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced working environment
• Ability to travel out of state for training
• Must have County Food Handler’s Permit or ability to obtain

Responsibilities:

• Create an experience that every customer will seek to repeat.
• Train and educate new team members to our culture, standards and operations.
• Supervise and guide kitchen culinary staff— cooks, dishwashers to ensure consistency with all food products.
• Prepare and adjust schedule for employees to meet demands of our customers.
• Follow all policies and procedures regarding sanitation and sanitary food handling.
• Execute all ordering and inventory management.
• Eagerness to learning total food and labor costs
• Must be knowledgeable in training employees
• Control costs by training and educating team members
• Create a fun, safe and energetic working environment.
